Ready to make waves at The Colonnade? Prepare to shell out $55 and arrive early. This rooftop oasis is a hot commodity and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s open to the public Monday - Thursday and Sunday after 1 p.m. but after 5 p.m., it’s an adults-only pool party. This year, guests can lounge with a beach read from the new Lovestruck Books lending library.

Plan a staycation paradise at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Who needs to venture out when you can soak up the vibes of their impressive indoor pool? There’s a retractable roof and adjacent outdoor sun deck, where you can dry off and soak up some rays after taking a dip.
Municipal Pools
475 Commercial St
Create a free membership in the registration system and you’re good to go at this North End pool. Swim sessions are 90 minutes, and open swim is Wednesday - Sunday. Find hours, amenities and create your registration here.
355 Chestnut Hill Ave
When you just need a dip, this community pool is a welcome escape from the summer heat. It’s T-accessible and there is plenty of parking along Beacon Street. The pool is open daily from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. with lifeguards on duty.
102 Martin Luther King Blvd
About a half mile from Jackson Square station, this Roxbury pool saw some upgrades for the new season. Swim in the pool from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. or frolic around the spray deck from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Reserve a lap lane in The Clubs at Charles River Park’s indoor pool up to 48 hours in advance, then stick around for the sweet amenities. Members also get access to Boston’s largest outdoor pool, seasonal cabanas, café service and more.
