James Hook & Co.

15-17 Northern Ave

Since 1925, James Hook & Co. have made some of the freshest lobster rolls in the city. They trap their own lobsters to give that right out o-of-the-a freshness that makes a great lobster roll. They have an amazing waterfront view where you can enjoy your lobster goodness.

Eventide Fenway

1321 Boylston St

Eventide Fenway brought their lobster roll all the way down from Portland, Maine, and we're forever grateful. Expect quick and reliable service if you're looking to grab a browned butter lobster roll before the Sox game, but it's also a great spot to hang around and enjoy all that their menu has to offer.

When it comes to lobster rolls in Boston, Saltie Girl is a must. The toasted bun is packed with fresh knuckle and claw meat, and it's served with a heaping side of chips. Don't miss the off-menu fried lobster roll, with tail meat, Korean chili flakes and sweet corn butter - it's a game changer.

300 Northern Ave

Expect a line out the door at this Seaport institution (don't worry, it moves quickly). While they offer a classic lobster roll served either hot or cold, they add a unique third version of a lobster roll: fried. In the summer, their outdoor seating is a great place to cool off and enjoy.

B&G Oysters

550 Tremont St

B&G Oysters in the South End serves some of the prettiest lobster rolls in the city. Made with mayonnaise, celery, lemon and garlic, the delicious lobster is garnished with chives and fresh black pepper. With a side of pickles and fries, it's a totally Insta-worthy dish.

Belle Isle Seafood

1 S Main St, Winthrop

Located a little further East, Belle Isle offers a lobster roll topped with a full claw. The restaurant sits right on the waterfront and most of their seafood is sourced from the nearby dock. It’s surprising how much lobster meat can be supported on a grilled hot dog bun but you’ll have to give Belle Isle a visit to find out for yourself.
