52 South St
Serve up some serious fun at Murphy Park in JP, home to four of the best-maintained outdoor pickleball courts we've seen. Their courts are open to everyone and run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Voted the top facility in the Northeast, PickleBos is Boston's premier indoor pickleball club. Find your court in Southie or Chalestown (both sites offer free onsite parking) and take advantage of the state-of-the-art amenities like podplay tech, a pro shop and player lounges.
325 Main St, Cambridge
Play pickleball above it all at the Kendall Square Rooftop Garden. There’s only one outdoor court, but the incredible views help if you have to wait your turn. No reservations, no fees; just bring your paddle and enjoy a game in the heart of Cambridge.
91 Sprague St
This Hyde Park facility opened earlier this year and features seven premium indoor courts. The club caters to all abilities with lessons, open play, clinics and league options. Members can also relax in the lounge, browse the pro shop or sharpen their game at DIY practice walls.

Ready to rally? The Greater Boston YMCA keeps it simple. Check your neighborhood club and hit the court for a no-frills match. It’s a great way to stay active, have fun and meet fellow pickleball lovers.
64 C St
This 22,000-square-foot “pickleball parlor” in Southie is about more than just the courts. After working up an appetite, grab a bite from the award-winning Pig Beach BBQ, or switch it up with cornhole and shuffleboard. The venue also has drop-in play and beginner clinics available.

Pickleball Social Club at Harpoon Brewery serves up games for every skill level, with hourly court rentals and options for both the casual and connoisseur. The best part? Their proximity to Harpoon makes it easy to cool off with a craft beer afterwards.
300 Grand Union Blvd, Somerville
This high-energy spot packs in outdoor pickleball courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard and bocce, all run by Volo Sports. Want to keep it casual? Try their “party pickleball” for a fun, social vibe. More of a competitor? Jump into one of their leagues and play for keeps.

If you can make the trip to Natick, you’ll be rewarded with over 20 courts ready for anything from a laid-back rally to high-stakes matches. Boost your game with a wide array of classes, from beginner level to drills with the pros. Off the court, refuel with Parisian pastries, wood-fired pizza or a dynamic stretch session.
25 Pier 4 Blvd
Country club energy meets city convenience at Ballers. Backed by tennis legend Andre Agassi, this spot serves up multiple courts, curated snacks and the perfect spot to hang with friends. The massive 30,000-square-foot space turns into a cozy winter rink with igloos and fire pits in the offseason.
340 Patriot Place, Foxboro
Foxboro's newest facility has 9 indoor and 6 outdoor courts for everything from casual rallies to competitive showdowns. Drop-in sessions start at $15, whether you're sharpening your game or just swinging by for fun. When the match is over, grab a drink at the seasonal beer garden.

Step into one of Boston’s sleekest new athletic complexes, where you’ll find pickleball courts available for special events and private rentals. While open play isn’t currently offered to the public, they occasionally host events that allow guests to use the courts.
